My CBD Oil

My CBD Oil

My CBD Oil is top quality. Is yours?

I remember when I first heard about ?CBD Oil? from a couple of friends in the USA. I have to admit that, at first, it seemed too good to be true!

Because I am very careful about what I put in my body, particularly ?, I did a lot of reading.

I learned that CBD is a ? natural food supplement that mammals, including us humans, have evolved to need and utilise in our bodies.

This is because our bodies have CBD Receptors, just like we have Receptors for various Vitamins and Minerals.

CBD products are legally available in the UK, Europe, US and many other countries, providing it is manufactured to certain standards.

As a result I decided to give CBD Oil a try.

How to Take CBD Oil

I take my CBD Oil by dropping it under my tongue.

Research shows that taking my CBD Oil sublingually is a very efficient way for the maximum amount of CBD to be absorbed, because it bypasses the digestive system and goes straight into the blood stream.

Vaping CBD is also becoming a popular way to benefit from taking CBD Oil. However, as with any CBD product care needs to be taken to find quality vaping juice.

Vaping CBD – How to find Safe, Quality CBD Vaping Juice

Vaping CBD oil has become very popular and with a huge range of CBD products now legally available, it’s important to know exactly which are suitable and safe for vaping.

vaping cbd

It is also important to know how you can ensure that the CBD you vape is of top quality.

This guide covers the crucial things you need to know when shopping for CBD vape oils and how to use them properly.

Caution: if you are on prescription medications, you may want to consult your doctor before incorporating CBD into your lifestyle.

Not all CBD Oil is equal! There’s an important difference between CBD oil you can take internally and use externally and CBD made for inhalation via vaping.

Oral CBD is oil-based. However, CBD vape oil is not.

cbd vape oils

Which CBD Vape Products are Safe to USE?

There’s two types of CBD products legally available for vaping.

CBD Vape Juice

CBD products made for vaping are sometimes referred to as “CBD vape oil”, but they don’t actually contain any oil.

A more appropriate name for these products is “CBD distillate” or “CBD vape juice“.

Because they are usually made from food grade ingredients (CBD is a food supplement), CBD Vape Juices can also be taken orally, but are very different from the oil-based CBD products.

Always check labels and look carefully at the ingredients. If the product contains anything other than PG, VG, CBD extract, terpenes and cannabinoids, then put the bottle back on the shelf.

This is because it’s likely to be totally unsuitable for inhalation.

It’s just not worth the risk!

The label should say something about vaping, vape juice, e-liquid or e-juice and the ingredients’ list should not mention any actual oil.

CBD cartridges

CBD cartridges are slim disposable e-cig tanks filled with CBD e-juice. Some contain pure CBD distillate, which is made using a CO2 or a solvent-based extraction method.

Look for a Company that uses the CO2 extraction method, so you are not inhaling any nasty residues.

solvents in cbd oil

These cartridges connect to a standard battery and provide an easy way to vape CBD. Cartridges, called pods, which are compatible with popular vaping devices are also available.

How many puffs of CBD Vape should I take?

Everyone is different. Just like the human body’s uptake of vitamins and minerals is different, so it is with CBD Oil.

The individual’s metabolism and endocannabinoid system is different. This means that while a couple of puffs may give one person the effect they are looking for, more or less may be appropriate for others.

The best way to find the optimum number of puffs of CBD Vape for you, is to start low and then gradually increase over time. Meanwhile, pay close attention to how you feel after each serving.

Related Post: How to Take CBD Oil

It might not be noticeable right away, or even overnight. As soon as you experience positive effects, then stick with that number of puffs.

It is important to start low and slow, so that you are taking in the minimum amount of CBD that your body needs.

Frequently Asked Questions about Vaping CBD

What are the side effects of vaping CBD?

Much research into the side effects of CBD is still to be done. The most commonly published side effect of CBD is mild drowsiness.

However, this is more common with first-time users, as the body gets used to receiving the CBD and can disappear with regular use.

Drowsiness from taking CBD Oil is most commonly associated with taking high amounts. However,  low to medium doses can actually produce the opposite effect.

Follow the link to read what the Mayo Clinic says about CBD and possible side effects.

Can vaping CBD oil get you high?

will cbd get you high

No, vaping CBD will not get you high, providing it is derived from Hemp, which contains very little THC (the psychoactive compound).

Legal CBD formulated for vaping is derived from industrial hemp. It can contain trace amounts of THC (up to 0.3%) which isn’t enough to get you high.

Those concerned about failing a drugs test, particularly for work, should only use THC-free CBD e-liquids.

Is it legal or illegal to use CBD for Vaping?

CBD Oil is now legal to use in the UK, Europe, the USA and many other countries providing:

  • it is made from Industrial Hemp and not Marijuana
  • the THC content is less than 0.3%

Can you overdose on CBD Oil or by Vaping CBD?

The Americans for Safe Access stated at their 2016 Cannabis Conference – A Conference on Harmonization of Global Cannabis Policy and Action:

“To date, there has never been a single well documented case of human fatality attributable to an overdose of cannabis or its components, and no experimental or non-extrapolated LD50 can be attributed to a toxic or lethal overdose.”

Which CBD Product brands can you trust?

Currently, there’s no regulation of the CBD Oil Industry. This means that some CBD products are being sold that don’t contain the advertised quantities of CBD.

Even more worryingly, it was found on testing that some of these products contained synthetic chemicals and contaminants!

However, providing you know what to look for, there’s some top quality CBD Products available.

If you’re not getting your CBD from a trusted source, there’s no way you can possibly know what’s in the bottle.

Reputable Companies also test their products with credible third-party ISO labs. They then make the results easily available on their websites, or at the very least will provide them upon request.

Is vaping the only way to utilise CBD in the Human Body?

No. Vaping CBD is not the only way to take it.

There are many other alternatives such as CBD oils taken orally or via the belly button.

As demand increases, more CBD products are coming onto the Market. However, it is important to be sure that you know exactly how these products are produced and which ingredients they contain.

How to Take CBD Oil

My own research has informed me that the best way to take CBD Oil is sublingually (under the tongue).

I take mine in front of a mirror, to make it easy to count out the amount of drops. This helps monitor the exact amount of CBD being taken.

This means that it is easier to make adjustments as necessary. It also makes it easier to determine my own personal “sweet spot”.

Everyone is very different in the way the human body absorbs and uses CBD Oil. Therefore, it is crucial to know exactly how much is being taken, so the number of drops can be increased or reduced as necessary.

Compared to using droppers, spraying CBD into the mouth is extremely inaccurate when it comes to measuring how much CBD is being taken.

This is the Brand of CBD Oil I can personally recommend

The Difference Between CBD and Marijuana – Clearing Up the Confusion!

What is the difference between CBD and Marijuana?

difference between hemp and msrijuans

Cannabidiol (CBD Oil) is either taken orally or applied to the skin to aid a variety of symptoms. However, there is much confusion about what it is and the effects it has on the human body.

This means that there is a lot of debate about whether or not CBD Oil is legal.

CBD Oil IS LEGAL in all US States, the UK, Europe and many different countries. However, the quality of all the different brands varies.

No 1 Difference Between CBD and Marijuana

They are grown from different varieties of the Cannabis plant

Hemp and Marijuana are varieties of the plant Cannabis Sativa. However, the two have distinct differences.

Marijuana farmers have bred Cannabis plants to purposely contain higher levels of THC compared to the Hemp Plant. THC is delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol. It is the best-known compound in cannabis.

In addition to THC, the Cannabis Plant is composed of more than 120 compounds. These are known as cannabinoids.

THC is the compound that causes a “high” when ingested into the body.

difference between cbd and marijuana

Hemp is the least processed variety of the cannabis plant. It contains lower levels of THC and higher levels of the CBD Oil than Marijuana.

However, although CBD Oil is used medicinally, it should be noted that CBD Oil is classed as a food NOT a drug. This is why articles on this site will always refer to servings and not doses!

No 2 Difference Between CBD and Marijuana

What is CBD Oil?

CBD oil is a cannabinoid derived from Hemp, a species of cannabis plant. However, it should be remembered that it is not the same as the variety of cannabis that produces Marijuana.

THC is broken down by heat – which is why it is smoked or baked in “cakes”. When introduced into the body it becomes psychoactive and mind-altering. This is the famous “high”.

However CBD is not at all psychoactive. This means it does not cause any mind altering effects or a “high”.

While not causing a “high”, CBD does appear to induce other changes in the body. There seems to be an increasing acceptance in the medical world that there are many health benefits to be had by using best quality CBD Oil.

However, many medical professionals are still sceptical. This, despite the increasing number of personal testimonies that note positive effects from the use of CBD Oil.

Researchers are increasingly looking at the potential therapeutic uses of CBD Oil to treat a variety of symptoms and conditions.

How do CBD & THC work?

The human body (and that of other mammals) has an endocannabinoid system (ECS). Surprisingly, it seems that mammals have evolved to make use of the Cannabis Plant!

The ECS has receptors that receive and translate signals from cannabinoids. ECS also produces some cannabinoids of its own, which are called endocannabinoids.

This endocannabinoid system helps to regulate functions such as sleep, immune-system responses and pain.

Humans have two receptors for cannabinoids. These are called the CB1 and CB2 receptors.

(Interestingly, researchers are currently looking at whether there is, as yet, an undiscovered third receptor.)

While CB1 receptors are located all over the body, many are in the brain.

The CB1 receptors contained in the brain deal with many bodily functions including coordination, movement, pain, emotions, mood, thinking, appetite and memories.

When THC enters the body, it affects the endocannabinoid receptors of the brain, which is what produces a “high”.

THC is naturally attracted to these receptors. This activates the brain to produce pleasure chemicals such as dopamine, which is associated with a “high”.

CB2 receptors are more commonly found in the immune system. They affect inflammation and pain.

Modern research has shown that CBD does not attach directly to either the CB1 or CB2 receptors. Instead, CBD seems to trigger the body to produce more of its own cannabinoids.

Can CBD make you high?

CBD belongs to a class of molecules called phyto-cannabinoids. This means that it is the part of the Cannabis plant that keeps you healthy, not high!

Compared to THC, CBD is an entirely different compound. Its effects are very complex and is the subject of many research programmes as Scientists try to discover exactly how CBD works.

As we have already stated, CBD is not psychoactive. Neither does CBD alter the state of mind.

CBD influences the body to use the ECS more efficiently

CBD influences the body to use its own endocannabinoids more effectively and to produce even more endocannabinoids.

A study posted to Neurotherapeutics concluded that CBD actually does very little directly to the ECS. Instead, it acts as a trigger where the CBD either activates or inhibits other compounds present in the endocannabinoid system.

For example: the absorption of Anandamide, a compound associated with regulating pain, is inhibited by CBD. This means that increased levels of Anandamide in the bloodstream may reduce the amount of pain a person feels.

The Cannabidiol contained in CBD Oil may also limit inflammation in the brain and nervous system. As inflammation is a major cause of problems with brain function, research continues on how CBD may help.

How To Take CBD Oil Drops & When To Take Them

Are you wondering how many CBD Oil Drops to take and how to take them? This article gives guidance on how to take CBD Oil Drops.

cbd oil drops

If you are like me when I first started using CBD Oil Drops, you are probably wondering what effect this plant extract could probably have!

Now I would not be without my CBD Oil!!

It was a couple of friends from the US who first told me about CBD Oil drops. WOW, what an amazing product!

However, when starting to take CBD Oil it is crucial that you start off taking it SLOWLY, with a low serving. This means that no matter how desperate you are to experience its benefits you must contain yourself and not be tempted to take too much to start with.

Why take CBD Oil Drops low and slow?

Everybody has an Endocannabinoid system, which has Receptors located throughout the body that the CBD attaches to.

However, as we have evolved our CBD Receptors have been used less and less. Therefore, it is important not to “shock” these CBD Receptors.

This is because when you first start taking CBD Oil it can cause you to feel a lot worse before you feel better. It’s like a kind of “detox”.

Once they start receiving the CBD Oil, these Receptors will start producing more Receptors. As this number increases, your body can then start to cope with higher servings of CBD.

This is why you need to start with a low number of CBD Oil drops and increase the serving gradually.

Some symptoms may be helped by a small number of drops each day, but others will need more. It is a question of gradually increasing the number of drops each day until you start to feel the benefit.

However, if you take too much CBD Oil in the beginning, you can shock what CBD receptors you do have. This may stall, or even reverse any improvements you may be feeling, while the Receptors recover.

This can also intensify any Detox symptoms you may experience.

Here’s one person’s experience of “Detox” when starting to take best quality CBD Oil

Recommended starting number of CBD Oil Drops

START LOW  once or twice a day. Then SLOWLY increase by a small number every 3-6 days.

Increase the number of drops very gradually, until you get to the point where you feel that you don’t have anything left to improve.

If things start to worsen, then reduce the number of drops. This is called “self titration”.

Remember, everyone is different. You are working out YOUR optimum serving size to find your “sweet spot”.

However, be aware that your “sweet spot” can change over time. Be prepared for this and make adjustments to the amount of CBD Oil you are taking if it happens.

Remember, however, that everyone is different and what may improve with a smaller serving for some may need a larger amount for others.

It may just take a day or two to find the serving of CBD Oil that is right for you, but it may also take a lot longer.

When to take CBD Oil Drops

To begin with, start with a low serving, in the morning. If you don’t notice a difference, or if it seems to ‘wear off’, take more about 12 hours later.

Keep doing this for a couple days and then increase by a small amount.

When you start to notice that the CBD Oil is working on what you want it to, you can stick to that serving size.

However, if you have additional concerns that you want to resolve, then continue increasing slowly until you find the CBD Oil is doing what you want.

Once you are happy with the effect the CBD Oil is having on you, then level off. This means that you’ve found your “sweet spot”.

How long will a bottle of CBD Oil Drops last?

A 10 ml bottle of Tessellate CBD oil contains 200 drops. This means that if two drops a day is all you wish to use, a bottle should last 100 days.

Many people find that, because of the concentration of CBD Oil, other Cannabinoids plus the Terpenes present in Tessellate, the number of drops needed is far less than other brands.

Once you know your serving size, it’s easy to work out how long a bottle will last.

How to measure and take the drops of CBD Oil

I take my CBD Oil by looking in the bathroom mirror. This means that it is easy to count out the drops.

Other people I know count the drops out onto a spoon.

Either way, the CBD Oil needs to be placed under the tongue. This is because the Sublingual glands under the tongue enable more rapid and efficient absorption into the body.

cbd oil drops

I have also seen testimonials from others who don’t measure drops, but go by the dropper full. In my opinion this is less accurate and could turn out to be a lot more expensive!

CBD Oil Side Effects

If you follow the recommendations to start low and slow, you will dramatically reduce the chance of being hit by the effects of “Detox”.

Detoxing is basically your body getting rid of the toxins and bacteria that have been accumulating in your body over time.

By starting low with a small serving of CBD Oil Drops and increasing the amount slowly, you can reduce (or even eliminate) any Detox effects that may be experienced when you first start taking CBD Oil.

This will help your body flush out the toxins and lessen the chances of problems. If you find you are getting headaches, then drink a glass of water. It works for me every time!

cbd oil drops

However, if you think you’re detoxing, DON’T STOP TAKING THE CBD OIL. The Detox reaction is telling you that the CBD Oil is working!

Simply reduce how much you’re taking and when the detox symptoms disappear, start increasing the number of drops again.

Remember, LOW AND SLOW!

This is why you should not find any serving suggestions on any bottle of CBD Oil. Everybody absorbs pure CBD Oil differently!

Top 5 Ways to Identify Best Quality CBD Oil

If you are looking for the best Quality CBD oil then you will learn about exactly what to look for in this article.

Are You Wondering is Pure CBD Oil Legal?

In one word YES!

Pure CBD Oil is legal in the UK. It is also available in the USA, Europe and many other countries.

There’s two forms of Pure CBD Oil, one with THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and one without. The availability of both depends on in which Country you live.

best quality cbd oil

The sale of CBD Oil is a growing industry, which Forbes has declared will be worth $7 Billion by 2020!

As usual with any new and fast-growing industry, many organisations are jumping on the bandwagon. This means that if you want to try CBD, you will find plenty of products already available.

There’s a huge price range and, in some cases, you don’t get what you think you are paying for!

For example, the test results from one of the most expensive brands shows that the product contains traces of yeast, mold, arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury.

No, the producers did not add these into the product. The problem comes from the ground on which the hemp is grown!

Another contribution to poor quality is the fact that the production of CBD Oil is unregulated. I am hoping that this will change.

Reputable producers will be anticipating the regulation and will welcome it. These producers are already taking care to produce high quality cbd oil.

What is Hemp-Derived CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a constituent that naturally occurs in industrial Hemp. CBD is just one of over 85 cannabinoids that is identified in the cannabis plant.

best quality cbd oil

How is CBD Oil produced?

CBD oil is most commonly extracted from agricultural hemp. Although it is also present in Marijuana.

Agricultural hemp contains less tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), than Marijuana. It is THC that gives humans a “high” or to give it the proper medical name: “psychoactivity”.

More and more research is being published regarding the medical and health benefits of marijuana. The debate is raging all over the world about the use of medical marijuana. However, CBD Oil produced from agricultural Hemp, comes without the “high”.

Quality matters! This is because low-grade CBD oil may not offer the same levels of benefit offered by top quality CBD oil. This is caused by a variety of factors.

Shockingly low grade CBD Oil could even contain potentially harmful toxins.

How can you find High Quality CBD Oil?

Read on to learn about the best ways to identify Best Quality CBD Oil

1. The Best Quality CBD Oil is manufactured in a specific way

Look for Petroleum-free Processing

Producers selling cheap CBD Oil will often use less than professional methods to extract the CBD in order to keep their costs down.

best quality cbd oil
Best Quality CBD Oil does not contain petroleum residues

Toxic solvents may be used in the extraction process. These can include:

  • propane
  • pentane
  • hexane
  • butane

These are all dangerous to our health! Propane and butane are used to fuel gas cookers.

All are hydrocarbon gases found in petroleum. They leave behind petroleum-based residues which end up in the CBD oil.

These residues have been shown to impact all sorts of ways that our bodies work. Additionally, while this method is efficient (and cheaper), it generally produces products with a lower concentration of CBD.

Remember, you usually get what you pay for. If the CBD Oil is cheap, it is probably not quality!

Some producers use ethanol to process their CBD. Ethanol is essentially grain alcohol. It is used to remove unneeded toxins and residues from the base hemp plant.

Alternatively, CBD oil can be produced by using “supercritical CO2 extraction.” This is a more costly method, because:

  1. it requires the use of extremely expensive equipment
  2. it involves a complex refinement process
  3. production expertise is essential

CO2 extraction ensures that the CBD oil is kept pure, throughout the production process. This results in a highly potent and high quality CBD Oil.

This method of extraction is also eco-friendly, non-toxic and has negligible environmental effects.

Research how the CBD Oil is produced

Before buying any CBD oil, thoroughly research the Producers’ production methods. The information should be found on their website. Call their customer service representative, if they have one.

If you are unable to find out this information then be very wary!

A good producer will not try to hide anything and will be open about the way their CBD Oil is extracted and processed.

2. Good Quality Hemp Produces the Best Quality CBD Oil

Find out where the Hemp is grown

As with any plant, Hemp will absorb whatever is in the ground. However, Hemp is a “hyperaccumulator”. This means that it absorbs elements in the ground far more easily than many other plants.

If the hemp plants are grown on quality, rich, fertile soil they will produce high quality cbd oil.

However, if the plants are grown on land that is rich in toxic metals, such as lead and mercury, these will be found in the CBD oil. This is particularly of concern for children, who may be taking CBD Oil to help with a variety of symptoms.

Manufacturers who care only about their profits will not be too worried about where their hemp comes from.

The source of the Hemp is crucial!

Do the producers grow their own Hemp or do they buy it in?

There’s no problem buying it in, providing the Hemp is harvested from good quality soil. US Hemp farmers are required to obtain Certification from their State Departments of Agriculture.

However, that is not to say that good quality Hemp is not grown elsewhere.

Organically produced hemp is also grown in Europe and Australia. This is more expensive than hemp grown in China for example, but the superior quality is worth it.

3. Look at how much THC is present in the CBD Oil

As we have already said, THC is one of the cannabinoids that is present in both marijuana and agricultural hemp and can make users “high.”

However, the levels of THC in Hemp are much lower than those found in Cannabis. This makes it ideal for making best quality CBD Oil (which is also legal!)

If processed incorrectly however, the amount of THC present in Hemp may still cause a certain level of psychoactive behaviour.

Check the labels of any CBD Oil you are considering trying, to make sure that the THC Levels are no more than 0.3%.

4. Does the Label say the CBD is “Full Spectrum/Whole Plant”?

Avoid anything that is “Isolate”

Best quality CBD oil is manufactured using the whole plant, often referred to as “Full Spectrum”.

The Hemp plant is full of beneficial components. These include terpenes, flavonoids, and other cannabinoids that are generally believed to increase the benefits of the resulting oil than CBD alone. This is called the “entourage effect”.

The “entourage effect” means that the effects of the CBD Oil and all the other constituents are enhanced as they all work together.

Once again check the label or the website to see what terms the manufacturer uses.

Avoid and CBD Oil that declares that it is an “isolate”. Isolate just contains CBD and none of the other constituents of the plant.

However, you may need to dig deeper with some products, which have been known to be marketed under the term “Full Spectrum”, when tests showed that it was not.

5. High Quality CBD Oil is tested by Independent Labs

All the producers of best quality CBD Oil will have their Lab Test Results freely available to view on their website. Also check that the tests have been conducted by an independent third-party lab.

These labs should then issue a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) confirming the results.

However, I was shocked to see that while one producer has passed the independent tests, their CBD Oil still had traces of arsenic, lead, yeast, mold, cadmium and mercury in it!!

If the results are not on the website then ask for them. Good customer service is another positive sign.

Until the regulation of CBD is introduced, consumers need to be wary about which brands are good quality. Be wary of any claims made by producers who do not have or do not publish their COAs.

Other things to be wary of when looking for high quality CBD Oil

Check the ingredients’ list. Some CBD Oils contain fillers that do nothing for the quality and have everything to do with keeping the price down.

Pure Best Quality CBD Oil

What is the Price you can expect to pay for High Quality CBD Oil?

“You get what you pay for!”

“If you pay peanuts you get Monkeys!”

Everyone wants to save money these days. The cost of living goes up and up, while wages don’t. However, when it comes to health, I am prepared to pay a reasonable amount to improve my quality of life.

And as a Mum I will pay even more for my children!

Independent research and the thousands of testimonials available online and on Social Media show that best quality CBD OIL WORKS in a variety of ways!

I have seen prices for CBD Oil ranging from $24.99 to $149.99. However, the more money you pay does not necessarily reflect the quality of the CBD Oil.

A brand costing $149.99 was the one containing traces of yeast, mold, arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury.

I have seen a 30ml bottle advertised at $119.95 and yet hardly any information about the product is available online!

Another for $84.99 has not been tested.

So, take time to find a high quality CBD Oil. The effort will be worth it.
